Welcome to Hotrod Garage Epsom - we import American cars, bikes and American memorabilia from all over the USA into the port of Southampton.

We acquire some vehicles and items ourselves because our experience tells us that they are sought after, in great condition and at a price that we cannot turn down - check out our FOR SALE pages.

However this expertise and our network in the USA means we can also find vehicles and other items for you - just tell us what you want, give us an idea of your budget and we can do the rest.

Items Wanted

We will find cars for you and do the checks as if we were buying for ourselves.

We have an assessor based in Florida who will travel, check the vehicle over and create a report and email it to us for you to browse before you make your decision (fees will depend on the location of the vehicle).

If you want us to then we can organise all paperwork and sort out shipping, port fees (USA and UK) and the VAT on your behalf.

There is a simple form to fill in to start advertising.

• You tell us what you want, our administration team will prepare the advert and send you a link before it goes live.
• Once the OK has been given by you the advert will be posted.

We can purchase on your behalf or, having located an item, you can purchase it directly and make your own transport arrangements.

Worldwide Shipping

Below is some guidance on shipping methods

• Show winning vehicles (container recommended)
• Ratrods (RO-RO* recommended)
• Original vehicles (RO-RO* or Container depending on condition and your budget)
• Dailies (RO-RO* or Container)
• Large memorabilia - could be anything, depending on size!
• Small memorabilia - postal service

* RO-RO means roll on roll off. It is a vehicle that drives or is capable of being driven on and off the boat. Non-running vehicles either have to be fixed so they are running or put in a container.

We can provide a RO-RO service or a container service but be warned, a container is expensive.

If your looking to bring two vehicles over and they are both show winners, container is best. If you are bringing one vehicle over and it is in average condition then bring it in RO-RO. If your preferred method is container, but are bringing only one vehicle, then you should try to find someone else who is shipping a vehicle and share the cost.
